A mission oriented and profit focused growth and transformation executive, Chris brings over 25 years of unique operating experience to the SCP & CO team, ranging from start-up, global Forbes 100, and private equity back companies, and includes P&L and functional leadership roles spanning sales and marketing, product management, software development, operations, IT, and security.

Most recently, Chris was President and General Manager of the Enterprise Messaging SaaS business at Syniverse, a global mobile services company owned by the Carlyle Group. Chris led the turn-around of the business, achieving over 2X revenue growth nearing $400M ARR, while expanding profit margins to 25%, and landing some of the largest financial, health care, and consumer goods companies in the Americas and Europe. Chris led a $1.09B investment raise and minority ownership stake sale to Twilio and preferred investors in May 2022. In his previous role as CTO of Syniverse, Chris led the digital transformation and repositioning of the company for profitability and growth, reducing operating expenses across the business by 34% year over year for 3 years, while introducing cutting edge technology innovation such as Blockchain, to reposition Syniverse’s global clearing and settlement business for growth in emerging business verticals in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Payments.

Prior to Syniverse, Chris spent 20 years in Silicon Valley, including 16 years at Cisco Systems in executive leadership roles in Product and Sales.

Chris is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, completed coursework at the University of California San Diego and Berkeley campuses, and completed both the Cisco Business Leadership and Momentum Leadership Programs for Executives (Haas and Wharton based business curriculums).
